Close your mouth!

Yeah I said it! Close ya mouth! Stop telling your friends all your business. They forget all the BS that they've been through with their man and tell you not to deal with yours. They tell you that they could never deal with a man like yours... Maybe even tell you that you're stupid. But guess what! All relationships have trial. No one is perfect! Yet we (people) tend to forget how what exactly we've gone through to get to where we are today.

What do you want?

Are you the woman that wants candy, flowers, romance? Will you appreciate the man that offers all of this and more? Now let’s be realistic here. Romance isn’t dead. It’s just expected in specific ways. Candle lit dinners, flowers,  blah blah blah. This is where us women (yes “us”, YOU, well lots of us) need to open our mind to other romantic possibilities other than what we see on TV.

 

It’s the moment he stops what he’s doing to give you a big embrace.  The moment you’re watching a movie and he kisses your hand. The moment you feel loved and he doesn’t even have to say it.

All that you see in the movies… candle lit dinners, flowers… all those things are possible with the man you have today. If those are the only things your relationship is lacking them MAYBE just MAYBE you should appreciate the man you have and romance him a bit. Your man needs to feel appreciate too!

 

But back to your ideal romantic situation… Do you know what that is?

Him

He’s open hearted, caring, loving, a great father, knows how to be my friend and my lover. Secure enough to know that I’ll never leave his side because he takes care of home. We give each other enough personal space so that our time together is much appreciated. He’s book smart & street smart. Knows how to handle my unconventional ways but loves me for that anyway. He knows all that I’ve been through because he’s been such a great listener. He forces me to articulate my feelings because he know that I rather not say a thing. I mostly push my feelings aside and pretend like its nothing. I don’t usually communicate well when it comes to my feelings. He figured me out. He touches my heart & soul in a way that no other man can. He lifts me up even when he’s not trying to.

Knows how to hold his feelings aside and responds to me like a true friend.

Because of all this… I want to love him even more. Show him love like he’s never seen before. Lift him up, be his #1 fan, his love, his friend
I just hope that when I see him... He's ready for me too.

Sometimes you never know love until you feel it. When it happens you must be ready to open your heart it. You can miss out on greatness if you don't.

Sometimes...

Sometimes you meet that guy that makes you want to smile again,  feel again, heck love again. Fall for this opportunity. Embrace the possibilities of greatness. Even if you are afraid. Be brave and willing to love and share love.

...and That's OKAY

You can meet lots of people, go on a few dates and not connect with anyone. Then there is that one person that comes along and makes you feel as if you can do this all over again. Guess you can say that I thought I found him. What I found was a little unexpected pain. Just a little.

I thought I found a friend… someone who was okay with me taking my time (If you know me, then you KNOW I can take A LOT OF TIME),  over the time he became a great lover. He made me want love again. I haven’t been intimate with a man in so long that I started to look forward to those intimate moments. I can tell you now, when you are intimate with someone an amazing bond can be created. It is truly a beautiful thing. I don’t recommend being intimate with just anyone. It takes away the true value of intimacy.

Getting to the point… People come into our lives for a reason. Sometimes it may not be what we want or how we expect it.  AND ITS OKAY!

I believe this person came into my life to prepare me for love. The little pain was short felt because he is still my friend. I may never know the full story and that’s okay with me. Friends are loving and caring no matter the situation. I am forever loving & caring with all of my friends.

That feeling

it doesnt matter how hard you try

you may feel as though

be as confident as you want

but truth is we all need to be loved by someone other than ourselves

without love life feels worthless

Greener Grass on the other side?

 I think its funny how people are always moving on and moving forward and always looking for bigger and better. Dont miss out on the greatness around you. Bigger & better could already be in your face...
We are human and we make mistake but the best part is when you are still loved after those mistakes. No situation will ever be perfect but the best situations have the best of memories, both good and bad.  Think about it... I know that one person said something to turn on you but their an overall great person. Why not give them a chance? Or maybe is that one person you connect well with but they just werent ready yet... be their friend. Dont give up on people so fast. Just make the best out those situations.
