The Signs

Do you know the signs? I'm still learning some, but here are a few to remember. I know sometimes we (women) tend to ignore the signs because everything is going well. He Its always perfect in the beginning.  Its like the honeymoon phase. You know the part before you hear the other person fart. Or that period of time before you are comfortable to full relieve yourself in his restroom. (Hey we are human too)

Here are some key words:

I'm too good for you.
Translation: I'm not ready for what you want. You would be great for someone who is.

I dont want to hurt you
Translation: I'm still doing my thing. There's someone else that I'd rather give more of my time to.

I'm spending N.Y.E with who I plan to spend my year with.
Translation: I wont be with you NYE because I dont plan on being with you in the new year.

There I've said it! Listen to him. If you have questions, ask him!

Just dont fall for the bull$h!t that sounds all sweet and special.

Happy New Year: 2013

Happy New Year Everyone! 2012 is officially over. Now is the time to get your new year resolutions together if you haven't already.

This year I've decided not to have any resolutions. I'm working on life changes that will hopefully effect my life in a positive way. I will continue to work on my goals (still writing and separating those). Goals should always be reevaluated and changed as your priorities in life change.

Current things I am working on: writing, jewelry making, and a new project in the works.
I will continue to work on myself and my writing. I love to write poetry, short stories (Hot on my to do list), blogs (duh of course) and other sorts of copy.
I make jewelry and I will continue projects as needed.
I also have a new project in the work. This will be a make it or break it situation and I hope that this is the one that will work its way into a full time career. Wish me luck!

Oh! Let's not forget love! This is the year I'm 100% open and giving my all to love. I have been extremely patient and hoping that my heart will chose wisely.  I pray that my next choice will be my last choice.

Let's not forget the true reason for the holiday. Its about family friends and giving to those who are less fortunate. Share  hugs and laugh with all your love ones. I'm not saying that the world is ending, but our time here is limited. You never know who will go next. So, appreciate life and all you have today for tomorrow is not promised.

... The Prayer

Can you believe that when I opened my eyes this morning

I prayed before him
As the tears run down my face
And the pressure from building around my heart
I swear you are playing tricks on me
So I prayed the Lord will let me know

You opened my eyes to see the true needs

As my tongue rolls and my words sound more like humming
musical tunes from my throat
It was so Heaven sent
Prayer so clear
disturbing to the average ear
passionately expressed tune from the heart.

Dear Love

 
The problem is that I don’t know where to start. It's going to be a year since I’ve blindly opened my mind to you. Not long after I opened my heart, body and spirit. I would have never guessed I'd feel this way about you today. I sit and wish you could open up your heart to me but know it’s impossible at the moment. I know you still hurt from your past... I know you need to heal. I know that I love you and just want to be here for you... Love I am here patiently waiting for you.

 
You're such a big part of my life love. I've never felt like this before. It refreshing as inhaling crisp air after a storm has past. Where there are no doubts about being comfortable in my own skin. I love the person you've helped me become. You've always made the world seem so much easier when you're around. For that I am grateful.

My thoughts today

When you find someone who makes you feel special, who can make you laugh, who appreciates you for who you are, who makes life feel easy when they're around. Hold on tight to them. Appreciate them, love them and keep them close to your heart. They are hard to find.

Lonely cold nights

Sometimes I sit and watch the rain. It so peaceful and calming. I just wish I had someone to sit here and reflect with me. Even if for a little while. The thought of companionship seems so close yet so far away. Cold lonely nights just don't get easy. Sometimes I wonder if there is really someone out there for me...
Someone who can be my friend, my love, a partner, my other half who can remind me that everything is going to be ok.
I'm know I'm not perfect or easily understood. Nights like this I just want to be held. What woman doesn't want to be held by that right person at that right moment.

I guess I'm totally having a moment right now.
