Keep it simple

The beauty of nature... whether its mountains, snow, the forrest, the ocean, animal watching (or people watching) you will find beauty every where you go. The beach is one of my favorite places to go. Whether its just to watch the waves, play in the sand or just to reflect on life a bit.  This summer I plan to take longs walks on the beach and let the water touch my toes. Its something about the sensation of standing on warm sand while the cool water splashes on my feet. I want the sand to stick to my skin until it drys and falls off.  I'm so ready to just wiggle the sand out of my toes.  Sometimes I watch the sunset and end the night with a sky full of star. So when the big things in life get you down... end your day with life's simple pleasures.

Spring fling or maybe love again?

Its that moment you realize how much fun you've been having. Long talks in person or on the phone, all day text convos... It feels as if this can go on forever. So how do you define it? Or do you? It's spring time and everyone wants to have fun. That's exactly what this is about right? It feels so right. Pure perfect imperfection. The moment you feel as though their flaws no longer matter. You've finally let someone in... And then Spring comes to an end.

Valentine's Day: What to do?

Well recently on facebook a friend posted a question asking for gift ideas and things to do.

 

Well here were my thoughts:

 

• Order take, set your table up for fine dining, order linens, flowers, petals, candles. Some things never get old if you don't do them often.
• Set up a pamper night, call in a masseuse, don't forget music, dinner must be 4 course and don't forget the wine.
• Long term relationships I say personalized gifts with flowers or edible arrangements, bathrobes, heart locket, money clips, keepsakes are great!
• Hotel rooms are great! Don forget the sexy lingerie, and iPod Set to your preplanned playlist, keep an open mind.
• Hampton Inn in Hermosa beach! They have whirlpool tubs & a great view! Watch the sunset on the beach. If you don't do dinner please do dessert & wine. wine glasses are .99 @ the dollar tree
• wine country for wine tasting & of course you will want to view the sites.... Rent out a suite at th Tickle Pink Inn (It's a fav of mine)

Can you Love... Again?

There's no real reason to run from it. We all need to feel, share and give love. There are so many broken hearts that fall and break, that it puts a damper on wanting to involve your heart again. I think the real reason people are afraid is because they focus too much on the bad things than they do the positive things.

Sometimes we just need to change our focus. Focus on all the great things and you wont worry about the bad.

The Beginning: Pretty Great Huh?

The beginning is where it all starts.  (Well DUH right?) Its when it all seems perfect. Well this is because this is the moment you know nothing but what you've seen thus far. You're Flirting, telling jokes, and just having a good time. In the beginning you give each so much attention that it just fees good to know that someone has interest in you. After all, its been so long since anyone wanted to get to know you the way this person has been trying. Small talks turn into long talks. You've never thought something so simple can make you feel so good.

First text to that first phone call... to the first time you're hanging out.
When you think its nothing but it feels like something. Then its that moment you realized that "this something" is starting to feel great. Because these "Good morning honey" text messages are just some of the things that make you smile. Or when he moves that strand of hair behind your ears and remind you of how beautiful you are... As great as it feels, you eventually have to realize that the only way to progress is knowing that the other person feels the same.

Dear Someone New, I'm Always Thinking Of You!

Dear Someone New,

The past few months have taken me by surprise. I know I’m great at saying I’m not ready for anything serious. Sometimes I’m even great at showing it. I really don’t want it to seem like I’ve changed my mind overnight. I want to tell you that I’m ready to take a chance, but I don’t want to push you away.  I thought I wasn’t ready to open up but truth is, you’ve had me since our first conversation. I must admit that I’m amazed at our unlimited conversation topics. Sometimes it hard to believe that we have a lot in common.

Or get this… randomly END UP TALKING ABOUT THIS PERSON!  Key sign that says your heart has let someone in.
