Affection

Affection

I believe that affection is the very glue needed in every relationship. It's a physical reminder of love. Don't get me wrong words of affirmation can be just as reassuring. However the feeling you get while being embraced by love... It's tender, reassuring and content.

It's when you know.

One can show " I love you " in more ways than words.

Let me elaborate.

A big bear hug
An unexpected hug from behind
Kisses when lease expected
Holding hands
Spooning
Pillow talk
Playing in ones hair
Gazing passionately isn't loves eyes
Quality time
Undivided attention
Unexpected sweet gestures

To know love is to know the person you're with.

I've learned that love comes from the heart. It's genuine and effortless. It's where these small gestures scream this love is pure.

Don't give up those gestures or affirmations. Even after an argument... When you both have that same goal ... It's truly a team effort.

keep an open heart and mind.

Love hard.

4th Of July- Post celebration

Hey folks,

Hope you've all had a wonderful independence day. This has to be my most favorite holiday. Its a day of great food, fun and family. I'm the youngest of 5 kids. If you're family is anything like mine, we just don't make the time to get together anymore. What can I say? We grew up and grew  apart.

This post is really about the nostalgia of Independence Day. When sparklers were just as excited and the big boom followed colorful sparkles that instantly light up the sky.  Even those these sparkler are not nice as they used to be, they still excite me. Last night I watched the sky line light up with all the colors of the rainbow. Mainly reds whites and blues. The smell of fireworks blowing through the cool breezy California night almost brought tears to my eyes. It was the feeling of being 8 again. We'd prepped the yard, watering it down(and the roof),  to prevent any possible fires from happening.  When families would gather to the streets as the teens would put on the show. Even though those days are over, I still get giddy about city wide shows.

The beach cities and parks really put on a great firework show. Last night the county of San Bernardino filled my heart and list up the skies with their Independence day celebrations.

Evening at the tender age of 30-something, fireworks still light up my eyes today as much as they did when I was a child. I probably should have taken a picture, but my eyes gleamed with each glow. There's a great few of the sky line from my home. I kinda wish I was higher on the hill just to get a further view. Though I am extremely grateful for the views I had.

Happy Independence day folks! Enjoy the leftover BBQ.

Love Making

LOVE MAKING

I realized that no one is talking about making love anymore. Everyone is talking about "hittin it" this way or that way but no one is getting intimate.

I mean soft passionate  kisses. Sensual touches that tantalize with each touch. Leaving good bumps all over.  Nibbles that start at the ear, leading to gentle pecks that conclude at the collar bone.
I remember when foreplay was a necessity. It was a way to "warm up the oven" before you start cooking.

Did we forget about the moments that matter before coital pleasure?

Don't get me wrong coitus is extremely pleasurable in my realm. No one  is talking about foreplay or love making. Remember in 1992, R. Kelly released  the single "Honey Love" off of his BORN INTO THE 90's album.

He talked about laying back, relaxing, looking into your eyes... INTIMACY.

Love makes you feel good.

It makes you want to shout it out to the world!
Prince sang it best on Adore- "Until the end of time. I'll be there for you"

What about Al Green when he sang " I, I'm so in love with you. Whatever you want to do. Its alright with me. Cause you make me feel so brand new. And I want to spend my life with you."

Let's bring back the kind of love making that excites both the man and woman.

Ladies dont be afraid to love on your man. He needs that special kind of attention as much as we do.

"Hey baby, Jus let me do all the work"

Let's get back to passionate unforgettable love making.

The Legendary Musician Prince

FOLKS! Another legend has passed away. My heart is hurting because my "husband in my head" , The Artist Formerly Know as Prince ask Mr. Prince Rogers Nelson, has passed away in the Paisley Parks Estate.

Associated Press has quoted his Publicist.

TMZ reported Prince dead at 57

Prince — a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and arranger — “was widely acclaimed as one of the most inventive musicians of his era, drawing upon influences ranging from James Brown to the Beatles to Jimi Hendrix,” the Associated Press noted. Born Prince Rogers Nelson, the Minnesota native was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. (Washington Post)

He will be missed.

Independent Single Woman

Let's face it we all at some point want or wanted to be that independent woman. We take care of the home, manage the finances, we're the bread winner, the soccer mom, family cheerleader, we do it all!

Pat your self on the back because you're freaking super human.  You've accomplished exactly what society says you should and You totally rock! That's great! I'm sure you only manage to have just enough time for YOU to help you get through it all.  What happens when you're on the market and searching for love? You barely have enough time for yourself. How could you possible get to know someone. Let  alone make the time to learn a person enough to decide if you want spend the rest of your life with them.

YIKES!

Thinking out loud

Love is everything. Sounds so cliche right? We fall over everyone else ideal situation, that we never consider our own.

Like the song says "who wants that perfect love story anyway. Cliche Cliche cliche"

Honestly I just want what is real. Something that works for me...

Home buying

Are you interested in buying a home? Can I tell you that I feel as though I've been signing my life away? There are so many document and so many things to read.

Let's face it. We all want our part of the " American Dream". That opportunity  to own property! Some thing appreciates in value. Well my time has started. Can I tell you how grateful and humble I am. I know its not easy to save money.

What to know? Well your realtor is not your banker. Your realtor does not approve your loan. They are however are knowledgeable of current mortgage rates and some basic information. Sometimes they work with specific backs because of past client relationships. Face it... once you've worked with a person its so much easier to to continue that business relationship.

Once you've received your approval letter from the bankers, the realtor will begin the process to you find your home. Sounds so excited! If you have a good budget then you'd easily find a home. I mean you might have really good options. I mean a good location, nice size lot, home that meets or exceeds your needs maybe with some extra goodies like pool and Jacuzzi. It could be whatever your heart desires.

If your budget is low, you may have some issues.  Cheaper homes go fast for many reasons. Some people pay cash just to get into a home. Some people want to decide how to update the house. Others want to make money, so you have people who invest money to flip homes. It really just depends.

Either way there is so much to know and learn during this process. You can make an offer and the offer just wont get accepted.  Its not always what you expect.  That process can happen hundreds of times.

Escrow is where the real fun happens.... that's for the next blog!
