Letting Go: The Blesson

We all go through that time where we are in need. In need of something. Whether its mental, physical, or emotional, there will be need. As I journey through this  path of a non-bitter woman, not allowing the past to anger my present, I’ve learned a few things. People come into our lives for different reason. Some come to stay and other just come to teach us something then move on. We have to accept people walking out of our lives. We have to let go to see the bigger picture.

A friend of mind, Q. Miles, posted the following on Facebook. It so relates to this. It’s crazy because he always posts things that relates to how I’m feeling. This blog is my way of releasing built up emotions.
"The reason a lot of people have not reached their potential & maximum success or happiness in life, is because there are Risks involved. One of the Risks we don't like is the risk of losing who we have always been around. Sometimes we have a Heart for people who don't have a Mind for us. Therefore, In order to reach the next level that God wants to take you or to maximize your potential & happiness. You will have to leave some people behind." - Q. Miles

You’ll never get what you truly deserve if you remain attached to what you’re supposed to let go of.

Letting Go: Not so hard

Soon as you let go of the one that's not trying to be kept by you...
You will see the one that's been trying to keep you.
Trust I understand that we want what we can't have. Don't let your your mind confuse your heart into wanting something that isn't right for you. You can say Mel you don't get it. We have a connection. This time it's different. Let Mel tell you that I've been there and I've done that. Love is letting them go. LET GO! No matter how much it hurts you. When you love yourself it don't hurt as much as you think. You can say Mel but I love myself! I know you not saying I have low self esteem. What I'm saying is, when you love yourself so much, the way that God loves you, you trust the plan that he has for you. You don't hold on to people because you're feeling as though you need them in your life.
