Poetry

It replays in my mind
Each time more intense
Each time more passionate
Each time more fulfilled
Each time I crave...
Every second
Every moment
As if it’s the first time.

Letting Go: The Blesson

We all go through that time where we are in need. In need of something. Whether its mental, physical, or emotional, there will be need. As I journey through this  path of a non-bitter woman, not allowing the past to anger my present, I’ve learned a few things. People come into our lives for different reason. Some come to stay and other just come to teach us something then move on. We have to accept people walking out of our lives. We have to let go to see the bigger picture.

A friend of mind, Q. Miles, posted the following on Facebook. It so relates to this. It’s crazy because he always posts things that relates to how I’m feeling. This blog is my way of releasing built up emotions.
"The reason a lot of people have not reached their potential & maximum success or happiness in life, is because there are Risks involved. One of the Risks we don't like is the risk of losing who we have always been around. Sometimes we have a Heart for people who don't have a Mind for us. Therefore, In order to reach the next level that God wants to take you or to maximize your potential & happiness. You will have to leave some people behind." - Q. Miles

You’ll never get what you truly deserve if you remain attached to what you’re supposed to let go of.

Letting Go: Not so hard

Soon as you let go of the one that's not trying to be kept by you...
You will see the one that's been trying to keep you.
Trust I understand that we want what we can't have. Don't let your your mind confuse your heart into wanting something that isn't right for you. You can say Mel you don't get it. We have a connection. This time it's different. Let Mel tell you that I've been there and I've done that. Love is letting them go. LET GO! No matter how much it hurts you. When you love yourself it don't hurt as much as you think. You can say Mel but I love myself! I know you not saying I have low self esteem. What I'm saying is, when you love yourself so much, the way that God loves you, you trust the plan that he has for you. You don't hold on to people because you're feeling as though you need them in your life.

Goodbye

Each thought is of you
I'd closed my eyes but then
your face brings me back
Here
sleepless nights and
Trying hard to hide behind red eyes
Weak
Famished
Unable to process our last transaction
So I lay
Here
Drenched in my pool of sadness
Sitting here hoping that maybe..
Just MAYBE if I can continue with this
Then maybe...
I can drown in my tears
We've said our goodbyes
For the last time
Made love
for the last time
Held you close
For the last time
So here I am
ready
To have my last breath
Life without love
Feels like death
Without you my heart can no longer continue
my feelings no longer exist
my brain no longer functions
but you can't say that I never tried
you seen all my  written
Hellos, hey theres, and thinking of yous
This last time
its
Goodbye.

Having A Moment

Follow your heart... not your mind.
understand the difference between falling in love and falling into deep
Those that express your worth more important than you think
Inner beauty holds more value
If they held your hand the hole way, don't let go when you reach your destination

Smallest details of life are the most important and yet we (yes me too) push away those that are just too good to us. Mostly because they meet all but a few needs. When you learn to value yourself you will value those around you. When do we get back to appreciating everything around,  loving and respecting each other for our differences... I keep hearing everyone saying that we are living in the last but yet we don't treat it like its our last.

The beginning of Perfection?

Relationships take time to develop. No really. I get it through. We all want love. AND we want to show the world! Sometimes we forget that… “Love doesn’t boast”. A person who wants to be in love can fall fast. Falling fast can leave to heartbreak, fast. Of course heartbreak is not what we are looking for here. We want happiness, giggles, roses, candlelit dinner, and touching moment. Seriously though… happy healthy relationships will also have their downs.

Let me cut to the chase. The beginning will always be smiles & giggles. Don't forget that no one is perfect. I think that once we see that little bit of imperfections in a person... it gets hurtful. Sometimes we are not hurt intentionally, but that’s why you should take your time, get to know each other. Learning all that you can. Learn the good, bad & annoying before you decide to move forward. When you move forward…move forward together... Don't assume you're in a relationship if you both haven't agreed. When we really want love and companionship we really push forward.

Goal here is:

Don’t force anything.  Always remember: What is meant to be will be.
